Data Center Superintendent
National Leading General Contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with a strong background in data center/mission-critical and complex commercial projects. This role will lead on-site construction efforts, ensuring field operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedule and quality standards across various locations.

Description
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed short-term schedules and lookahead plans
- Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, trades, and vendors on-site
- Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and ensure compliance with all OSHA standards
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify conflicts or potential issues
- Collaborate with project management to ensure alignment on budget, scope, and schedule
- Maintain daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation
- Ensure quality control processes are followed and that work is completed to design standards
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues before they impact cost or schedule
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for inspections, client walkthroughs, and coordination with local authorities
Profile
- 5+ years of construction experience, including leadership on large-scale data center/mission-critical projects
- Be comfortable traveling to project sites across the U.S. as needed
- Oversee daily field operations, including subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and schedule execution
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
- Possess solid MEP knowledge and experience managing complex systems installations
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other Superintendents to ensure smooth project delivery
- Serve as a mentor and leader to field teams, maintaining a positive and results-driven jobsite culture
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable leadership style

- Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
