Description
The Lead Superintendent is responsible for:
- Onsite daily in York PA
- Travel to future projects in PA, NJ, MA
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
- Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
- Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
- Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
- Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure
Profile
The right candidate will have:
- 7+ years as a Superintendent with GC or Builder/Developer
- MUST have experience running $50M + projects
- Industrial project background
- Ideally has run 1-2 big ($80M-$150M) industrial projects successfully
- Site work & concrete experience most critical
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30
- Degree (ideally construction related)
