Description

The Quality Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing will:

• Coordinate receiving, in-process, and final inspections to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to schedule and enforce inspection activities.
• Supervise and train inspection personnel to meet Commercial and Military Specifications.
• Review and approve test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and customer-required documentation.
• Manage discrepancy reports, material correction notices, and source inspection reports, ensuring proper resolution.
• Oversee MRB actions and coordinate efforts between Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments.
• Ensure accurate tracking and disposition of incoming materials.
• Facilitate Government or customer source inspections when necessary.
• Approve work orders and shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Initiate and oversee the shipping process for final products.
• Coordinate Quality Control efforts and training across facilities.
• Foster a professional and positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration.
• Be onsite at our Boxford, MA location

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in quality assurance, including 5+ years in a supervisory or quality manager role.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, chip, and wire assembly processes
• Experience in aerospace / defense manufacturing preferred
• Proficiency in IPC-A-610 standards (certification required).
• Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and environments.
• Skilled in using ERP systems, including Costpoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative setting.
