The Quality Manager will oversee all quality assurance activities, including coordinating inspections, supervising inspection personnel, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations at our Boxford, MA location. They will also manage discrepancy reports, work orders, and MRB actions while fostering a positive work environment and facilitating communication across teams.

Description
The Quality Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing will:
- Coordinate receiving, in-process, and final inspections to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to schedule and enforce inspection activities.
- Supervise and train inspection personnel to meet Commercial and Military Specifications.
- Review and approve test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and customer-required documentation.
- Manage discrepancy reports, material correction notices, and source inspection reports, ensuring proper resolution.
- Oversee MRB actions and coordinate efforts between Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments.
- Ensure accurate tracking and disposition of incoming materials.
- Facilitate Government or customer source inspections when necessary.
- Approve work orders and shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Initiate and oversee the shipping process for final products.
- Coordinate Quality Control efforts and training across facilities.
- Foster a professional and positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration.
- Be onsite at our Boxford, MA location
Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in quality assurance, including 5+ years in a supervisory or quality manager role.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, chip, and wire assembly processes
- Experience in aerospace / defense manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency in IPC-A-610 standards (certification required).
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and environments.
- Skilled in using ERP systems, including Costpoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative setting.
