Key Responsibilities for Assistant Superintendent Commercial Construction in Los Angeles metro area

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities.

• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure timely and quality execution.

• Monitor project schedules, safety compliance, and site cleanliness.

• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and progress photos.

• Support with field problem solving, quality control, and conflict resolution.

• Attend and contribute to coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors.

Profile

A successful candidate for Assistant Superintendent Commercial Construction in Los Angeles Metro Area

• 2+ years of experience in commercial Building and construction, preferably in a field-based role.

• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety requirements.

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam).

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
