Description

As an Estimator/Senior Estimator, you will support the Director of Estimating by managing the estimating process for a variety of projects under $5 million. You will play a critical role in the preconstruction phase, preparing competitive and detailed cost estimates, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the success of bids. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position within the estimating department.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects ranging from tenant fit-outs to education, corporate, and housing developments.
  • Estimate and manage a pipeline of 5-10 projects monthly, with the potential for fluctuation based on project needs.
  • Work closely with the Director of Estimating and project teams to refine preconstruction processes.
  • Leverage Building Connected and other estimating tools to produce accurate and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
  • Support strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and team performance.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion for estimating and a desire to grow into a leadership role.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably with projects under $5 million.
  • Proficiency in Building Connected and strong Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to estimate projects independently, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience with diverse project types, including education, healthcare, housing, and corporate interiors, is a plus.
