Description

The Super will be responsible for:

• Running ground up projects between $2M - $10M
• Commuting to project in Portland Maine
• Reporting to the Director of Ops
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
• Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
• Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
• Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
• Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
• Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
• Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure

Profile

The successful candidate has:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a Commercial GC
• Proven track record of leading large ground-up projects $2M-$10M+
• Ideally civil or heavy civil project background (open to really good site work experience)
• Commutable to project in Portland ME
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Sage Timberline (open to implementing new technologies)
