A global tech organization is seeking an onsite Senior Finance Manager/Controller to lead multi‑entity accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting. This role supports the VP of Finance during a leave coverage, with the opportunity to transition into a long‑term position.

Description

• Manage full‑cycle accounting across multiple entities, including AP, AR, payroll, banking, tax coordination, and monthly close.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, consolidated reports, and forecasts.
• Oversee and optimize the company's ERP system (Zoho Books), ensuring accurate data and efficient workflows.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; coordinate with external CPA on year‑end filings.
• Lead and mentor a small distributed team, providing guidance and support across accounting functions.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable financial insights to leadership.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting across several operating entities.
• Support documentation requests tied to an active SBA loan process.
• Enhance policies, processes, and internal controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams across the U.S. and international offices.

Profile

• Brings 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally at the Controller or Senior Accounting Manager level.
• Comfortable owning multi‑entity accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting with minimal supervision.
• Quick to learn new systems, especially ERP tools like Zoho Books or QuickBooks Online.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and can step in immediately with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Confident working with international teams across time zones and cultures.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities.
• Strong communicator who can collaborate closely with the VP of Finance and cross‑functional partners.
• Leadership‑minded, with the ability to mentor and guide distributed accounting staff.
• Professional, reliable, and approaches a temporary role with a full‑time mindset.
• CPA or equivalent credential (active or inactive) strongly preferred.
