Description
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for ground-up and renovation projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to develop accurate cost assessments
Perform quantity takeoffs and support value engineering efforts
Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and business development teams
Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers during the preconstruction phase
Manage bid solicitations and ensure timely and complete proposal submissions
Maintain historical cost data and support continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes
Assist in subcontractor scope reviews and budget alignment meetings
Profile
The Construction Lead Estimator will possess:
- 5+ years as an estimator
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in sectors such as retail, hospitality, life sciences, auto dealerships, or commercial projects
Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Based in or able to commute regularly to Beverly, MA (in-office role)
A team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow within a reputable and expanding firm
Job Offer
The Construction Estimator will receive:
- Compensation up to $160,000
- Annual Bonus
- PTO
