Electrical Controls Engineer - Hudson, NH
The candidate will comprehensive engineering plans that align with the customer's requirements and standards and be responsible for overseeing automation project timelines. This person will prepare and configure PLC and HMI code for high temperature vacuum furnace systems.

Description
In this role you will report directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Define Electrical and Controls Engineering specifications for high-temperature vacuum furnaces
- Assess equipment specifications and performance criteria to minimize costs and technical risks
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, create bills of materials, and modify designs as needed, while also preparing manuals and documenting test results
- Conceptualize, design, and program electrical equipment and control configurations
- Generate detailed drawings, schematics, and configure PLC and HMI code
- Finalize 'as built' documentation, including drawings and schematics
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
- 4+ years of automation experience
- PLC and HMI testing and configuration experience
- Controls troubleshooting knowledge
- Vacuum, furnace, pressure vessel, ASME, or heat treating experience preferred
