Quality Manager - Metal Stamping Manufacturer | Burlington, WI

My client is a metal stamping manufacturer who is looking for a Quality Manager to come in and lead the quality department. The Quality Manager will be tasked with managing and maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 QMS, handling customer complaints and interactions, and will have 2 direct reports, consisting of a Metrology Supervisor and a Quality Lab Supervisor.

Services they provide including stamping, tooling, die casting, welding, machining, assembly, and more. They are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and are looking to grow, as they've seen an increase revenue year over year. My client is a family-owned organization and boast a culture based on family values. They also heavily emphasize promotion from within and plan for this individual to eventually take over for the Head of Quality.

Description

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) Department
• Ensure product quality by developing, assessing, and improving manufacturing processes in our production centers
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Contribute to new product development and enhance existing production processes
• Uphold company quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audit requirements
• Champion quality initiatives across the organization
• Manage PPAP submissions and ensure alignment with customer quality expectations
• Oversee manufacturing operations to verify product quality
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine product quality and process methodologies

Profile

• Background in metal fabrication or machining
• 5+ years of managerial experience
• Experience maintaining an ISO 9001 QMS
• Customer interaction experience
• Experience with ISO 13485 is preferred
