Superintendent - Healthcare, Life Science

We're seeking an experienced Superintendent - Healthcare, Life Science to lead the building and construction of complex healthcare, life science, and public works projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence on site. This role requires a strong background in managing OSHPD or pharmaceutical builds, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in commercial construction.

Description

Key responsibilities for a successful Superintendent - Healthcare, Life Science candidate:

• Oversee all on-site building and construction activities, ensuring work aligns with design plans, specifications, and safety standards.

• Develop, manage, and update project schedules to meet deadlines and client expectations.

• Enforce site safety policies, lead weekly safety meetings, and maintain a clean, secure work environment.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

• Generate daily reports, manage punch lists, and ensure high-quality workmanship throughout the project.

Profile

A successful Superintendent - Health-care, Life Science candidate will:

• Have 5+ years of supervisory experience in health-care, life science, OSHPD, or public works construction projects, preferably in or near Irvine, CA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of construction documents and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).

• Be a hands-on leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality control, and schedule management.

• Be highly organized, self-motivated, and responsive, with a proven ability to manage complex or multiple projects simultaneously.
