Description
The Quality Manager will:
- Develop & Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and other industry certifications.
- Lead Internal & External Audits - Conduct audits, address non-conformities, and drive continuous compliance.
- Manage Quality Documentation - Oversee quality manuals, SOPs, and work instructions to maintain industry best practices.
- Analyze & Improve Production Processes - Identify opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions - Lead problem-solving efforts for quality issues using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Customer-Focused Quality Initiatives - Act as the primary contact for customer quality inquiries and audits, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Mentor & Manage the QA Team - Hire, train, and develop a high-performing quality team that drives excellence.
- Oversee Inspection & Testing - Ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet specifications.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends - Keep up with new quality tools, technologies, and best practices to maintain competitive standards.
- Drive a Culture of Quality & Continuous Improvement - Lead regular meetings, track KPIs, and implement strategic improvements.
Profile
The ideal Quality Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in quality management within an electronics manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and other relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
- Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools
