Our client seeks a Director of Quality to lead and enhance their quality program in Richmond, VA. This senior leader will drive company-wide initiatives, ensure industry compliance, and foster a culture of excellence. Working closely with leadership and project teams, they will implement best practices to minimize risk, improve efficiency, and uphold the company's reputation for delivering high-quality construction.

Description
- Quality Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's overall quality control strategy.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects meet or exceed regulatory requirements, client expectations, and industry best practices.
- Training & Development: Lead training initiatives for project teams and field staff to reinforce a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential quality issues early, provide proactive solutions, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Collaboration & Oversight: Work closely with operations teams, project managers, and superintendents to integrate quality processes into all phases of construction.
- Performance Tracking: Establish metrics to assess and report on project quality performance, using data-driven insights to drive improvements.
- Client & Regulatory Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related concerns, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory bodies.
Profile
- 10+ years of experience in construction quality control or quality assurance, preferably on large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement company-wide quality programs.
- Expertise in construction codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and other relevant construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
