Estimator- Commercial Construction
The construction estimator evaluates project plans, specifications, and costs to determine the overall budget and resources needed for construction projects. They analyze materials, labor, and time requirements, providing detailed cost estimates to support bidding and project planning decisions.

- Cost Analysis and Estimation: Review project plans, specifications, and materials to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other expenses.
- Bid Preparation: Compile and submit detailed proposals for bids, ensuring all costs, timelines, and project requirements are clearly outlined.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, pricing, and availability of resources to provide competitive and realistic estimates.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather input and refine estimates.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and account for contingencies to mitigate cost overruns and delays.
Profile
- BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the building/construction/property industry
- Experience with conceptual estimating
- Ground up project knowledge and experience
