Traveling Interior Superintendent

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of construction processes.

Description

  • Manage and oversee daily on-site construction operations to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for construction execution.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards.
  • Communicate project updates and address any issues with stakeholders promptly.
  • Travel to various project sites as required to oversee construction activities.

Profile

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Interior construction experience in Office, MOB, Retail, QSR, and/or Light Industrial projects
  • Ground-up construction experience is not required, but a plus
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage on-site teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
