Client Details
Our client is a mid‑sized commercial interiors general contractor with a strong reputation throughout the NYC metro area. They deliver office, tenant improvement, retail, and mixed‑use interior projects and are known for their repeat clients, organized processes, and team‑first culture.Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial interior projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify accurate quantities and pricing.
- Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership during preconstruction.
- Assist with value engineering, bid proposals, and pricing clarifications.
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- Proven experience estimating commercial interior construction projects in NYC.
- Strong understanding of interior trades, finishes, MEP coordination, and local market pricing.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline driven.
- Confident communicator who works well with both internal teams and subcontractors.
- Comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
