Description

The Inclusion Assistant (Temp./Contingent) is a key member of the Inclusion Team and will collaborate with all team members to support the execution of various administrative and project-related tasks focused on inclusion initiatives. The primary responsibilities include assisting with associate programs, coordinating events, and liaising with multiple internal teams such as Professional Development, Recruiting, Marketing, and Business Development, while also crafting materials for key committees.

  • Support the planning and execution of inclusion-focused programs and events, including professional development, training, affinity group events, heritage month celebrations, and recruiting/pipeline programs such as the summer associate program.

  • Assist affinity groups in executing their strategies by coordinating programs, events, and initiatives.

  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and organize both in-person and virtual engagement activities.

  • Track and process payments to external vendors, and coordinate firm sponsorships of inclusion events and partnerships with strategically aligned organizations.

  • Help develop and update content for the firm's inclusion marketing, including internal and external web pages.

  • Assist with compiling client, benchmarkingbenchmarking, and regulatory reports related to inclusion topics, including statistical data.

  • Help identify patterns and trends from data sets and qualitative feedback, and develop materials to effectively communicate these insights to stakeholders.

  • Ensure the accuracy and organization of online file storage systems, affinity group membership rosters, and team task trackers.

  • Consistently exercise discretion and good judgment, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating cultural sensitivity when interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Perform other duties as required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Career changers with transferable skills and competencies are encouraged to apply.

  • Relevant work experience and/or professional internship experience preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management systems is a plus, along with a willingness to learn new software.

  • A strong interest in inclusion-related issues and a passion for supporting diversity initiatives.

  • Ability to collect, organize, and disseminate large amounts of information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize confidential work efficiently.
