Estimator - NYC
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the estimating process for high-profile commercial interiors projects across New York City, ensuring accurate budgets and competitive bids. You will collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients, translating technical drawings into cost-effective solutions that drive project success.

Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interiors projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
Work with project teams to develop value-engineering solutions.
Ensure estimates are aligned with company goals and client expectations.
Maintain accurate databases of costs and market pricing trends.
Profile
The ideal Estimator is analytical, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. They are confident in reviewing complex construction documents, excel at communication, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills with both internal teams and external partners. A background in commercial interiors estimating is highly desirable, along with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
3-5 years of estimating experience in construction.
Commercial interiors experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
