Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interiors projects.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.

• Work with project teams to develop value-engineering solutions.

• Ensure estimates are aligned with company goals and client expectations.

• Maintain accurate databases of costs and market pricing trends.

Profile

The ideal Estimator is analytical, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. They are confident in reviewing complex construction documents, excel at communication, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills with both internal teams and external partners. A background in commercial interiors estimating is highly desirable, along with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

• 3-5 years of estimating experience in construction.

• Commercial interiors experience strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
