Superintendent - Indianapolis Commercial Construction

Our client is a well-established Midwest general contractor with over $200M in annual revenue and a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.
They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to play a key role in the strategic rebuild of their Indianapolis market.
This individual will lead on-site execution as the firm scales its Indianapolis team and delivers a strong pipeline of projects over the next 5+ years.

Description

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all field operations for commercial, education, or healthcare ground up projects ranging from $1M-$10M+
• Develop and maintain 2-6 week project schedules and logistics plans
• Manage subcontractors, resolve issues, and ensure quality and safety
• Track labor, material, and equipment costs; implement corrections as needed
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Enforce safety standards through regular inspections and training
• Mentor and coach field staff to build a high-performing team

Profile

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of field supervision experience in commercial construction
• Successfully ran multiple ground up projects as lead superintendent from start to finish
• Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with scheduling and project management software (Procore a plus)
