Vulnerability & Patch Management Engineer
We're seeking a Workstation Engineer, skilled in Vulnerability and Patch Management, to join our client's growing team in NYC. This person must have strong experise with SCCM, application patching, Powershell and VMWare. This role requires 3-days onsite in NYC.

A Wealth Management Firm known for its extensive range of financial products and services, including asset management, risk management, and advisory services.
Description
Provide operational support and security remediation for VMware environments, including Horizon VDI and Windows workstations, leveraging SCCM for patch management and application deployment.
Conduct patch management research and implement remediation strategies for physical and virtual workstations, automating repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Power Query where applicable.
Collaborate with IT Support and end-users to manage ticket resolution, schedule maintenance appointments, and coordinate security issue remediation.
Research and evaluate security solutions based on current vulnerabilities, ensuring timely implementation of software updates and patches to maintain system integrity.
Profile
3-5 years of IT experience with expertise in Windows workstation OS management and proficiency in Microsoft SCCM/MECM and PowerShell scripting.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by experience working collaboratively in team-oriented environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred; financial industry experience is a plus.
