Michael Page - Palo Alto - Support Oversight Manager
This role oversees the daily operations of the Paralegal and Secretarial Departments, focusing on staffing, workflow management, and cross-functional collaboration. It blends leadership, organizational planning, and operational execution to support attorneys and drive departmental efficiency.

Description
- Manage daily operations and workflow for Paralegal and Secretarial Departments.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance management, and training.
- Collaborate with attorneys to align support needs with departmental resources.
- Monitor productivity and utilization across teams.
- Partner with management on staffing, integration, and firm-wide initiatives.
- Lead recruiting efforts and participate in hiring decisions.
- Assist with budget planning and expense oversight.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and promote efficiency and client service.
- Identify and implement process improvements and team development strategies.
Profile
- Has at least 10 years of leadership experience, including 5+ years in administrative management within a professional services or legal environment.
- Brings deep knowledge of law firm operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead, coach, and manage change.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Is highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities while fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
