Description

  • The Construction Construction Superintendent - Healthcare - Meriden, CT will manage the day-to-day operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain project efficiency.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare-specific codes and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns.
  • Identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience working in a Building and Construction Superintendent role for a General Contractor (GC).
  • Proven expertise in healthcare projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Preference for candidates with experience at firms handling similar scopes of work.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (mandatory).
