Staff Accountant - Global Finance and Client Operations

Description
Lead day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across U.S., EU, and APAC entities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger management.
Oversee and execute high-value financial transactions with precision, sound judgment, and strict adherence to compliance standards.
Serve as a primary finance liaison for clients, managing communications related to invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and financial inquiries.
Perform complex multi-currency bank, credit card, and platform reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
Review and process vendor invoices, international payments, and employee expense reimbursements in alignment with internal policies and approval workflows.
Support monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, and audit preparation across multiple jurisdictions.
Develop financial analyses, variance reports, and executive dashboards using ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and external stakeholders.
Partner with Finance leadership on cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with global operations, sales, and leadership teams to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and enhance the client experience.
Profile
A seasoned accounting professional with 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
Experienced in handling large, complex, or sensitive financial transactions with discretion and accuracy.
Confident in client-facing environments, able to clearly communicate financial concepts and processes.
Highly proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Analytical thinker who can transform financial data into meaningful narratives and strategic insights.
Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Comfortable working across time zones, cultures, and cross-functional teams.
