Client Details
This client is one of the most reputable General Contractors in Kansas City, MO. Their focus is primarily on healthcare, but they also do work in other sectors of construction such as multi-family, senior living, education and more. They have excellent company culture and are on the search for a new Project Manager to join the team and fit right in. This role has a fast road to promotion and they are not shy to compensate accordingly once an individual proves their worth.
Description
- Have regular communication with all of management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, clients and vendors.
- Adhere to a strict project schedule and adhere accordingly.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, materials, logistics, equipment, submittal and all other requirements.
- Facilitate company-wide safety program.
- Create a 3-week look-ahead schedule for all programs/activities taking place on the job site. These schedules must be sent to the Senior Project Manager and the Prime Contractor every week.
- Create and maintain daily reports.
- Maintain quality control on site by confirming all equipment and material installed is what was submitted by the subcontractor.
- Take/maintain project photos of all phases and features of work.
Profile
- 7+ years of experience in Construction Project Management.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Knowledge of skilled trades and commercial construction technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
- Experience with hard-bid estimates and change orders.
- Strong leadership skills.
