Highly respected, family owned GC is actively seeking a construction superintendent to join their tight-knit team. This firm currently has the best project pipeline they have had in their 50+ years of building. Description
- Supervise daily on-site activities to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and changes effectively to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve construction site issues promptly.
- Manage material and equipment deliveries to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address technical challenges and optimize construction processes.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
Profile
- 3+ years of construction experience
- Willingness to become OSHA 30 Certified
- Proficiency with construction site technologies
- Trade background highly preferred
- Supervisory experience as a superintendent or foreman
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Above all, a passion for construction and client service
