The Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects within the property industry. This position involves collaborating with project teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.

Description

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
  • Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project flow.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Support procurement activities and manage project resources effectively.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Municipal Construction experience (K12, higher-ed, parks, etc.), 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage project tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team environment.
