Residential Mortgage Consultant

This position provides loan business, prepares loan analysis, loan recommendation, customer service, post lending management and intra-bank departments communication to meet objectives set by the Branch Manager.

Description

• Proactively solicits new residential mortgage business to meet established loan quality and production goals
• Source and develop residential mortgages
• Work with loan team to ensure that all pertinent documentation is complete and accurate
• Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority with the bank in accordance with bank procedures
• Support the bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge
• Build and maintain positive relations with all customers and potential customers
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Profile

• Bachelor's degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent fields preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Residential lending experience required
• NMLS Certification is required
• Demonstrate knowledge in Credit Underwriting, Personal loan process, and Consumer Compliance
• Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin required
• Years of Relevant Experience Required: 2 years
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required, Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent fields preferred
• Professional/Certification Requirements: NMLS Certification is required
• Other Relevant Requirements: Microsoft OS, Encompass
