With in-house mechanical capabilities and a recession-resistant portfolio that includes work at medical centers, military bases, and research facilities, they maintain a steady pipeline of work across the state.

Description

The Junior Estimator - South Shore based GC will be responsible for:

• The Junior Estimator work under the lead estimator to prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects
• Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities.
• Prepare clear and effective proposals for review by the Lead Estimator for assigned projects according to standard processes.
• Assist in performing value engineering of new or alternate materials, means and methods of construction.
• Assist in soliciting or qualifying and qualify proposals from suppliers and/or subcontractors; participate in the procurement process, as directed
• Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required.

Profile

The Junior Estimator - South Shore based GC should have:

• 2+ years of construction estimating experience (general contracting or subcontractor)
• Degree in Construction Management or other related field of study
• Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam, On-Screen take off or another construction related software
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
