Description
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a key role in overseeing construction projects in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. You will support the Superintendent in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a highly organized and motivated individual looking to grow their career in construction management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities
- Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to maintain schedules
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress and address any site issues proactively
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership
- Maintain quality control by ensuring work meets company and client standards
Profile
- Experience: 2+ years in construction field operations (multifamily preferred)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
- Communication: Excellent leadership and team coordination skills
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
