Market Risk Officer, Credit Trading

The Market Risk Associate to provide oversight of the Credit Trading desk, covering investment grade/high yield credit and structured products (CLOs and ABS). This role is critical in ensuring risk exposures are properly identified, monitored, and communicated across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in market risk management, specifically covering credit and structured credit desks.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, including credit instruments and structured products.
• Solid understanding of risk management concepts such as VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, and Greeks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex risk topics clearly.
• Technical proficiency in tools such as PowerBI, VBA; coding skills are a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
