Superintendent - New Haven
This Superintendent role offers the chance to lead field operations on a variety of commercial projects in the New Haven area, including healthcare, higher education, and corporate builds. You'll be responsible for site coordination, safety compliance, subcontractor management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to spec.

Description
Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and site logistics
Enforce job site safety standards and OSHA compliance
Maintain project schedules and track milestones
Conduct daily reports and weekly site meetings
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on schedule, budget, and issue resolution
Ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications
Communicate regularly with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Profile
5+ years of experience as a superintendent on commercial construction projects
Strong background in coordinating multiple trades and managing field operations
Highly organized, safety-conscious, and able to problem-solve in real time
Familiar with local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes in Connecticut
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage site teams and represent the company professionally
Proficient in construction management software and digital reporting tools (Procore preferred)
Self-driven and committed to delivering high-quality work on schedule
