Description

Assistant Project Manager - Public / Academic Projects - Responsibilities

  • Support subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and management.
  • Assist with the project closeout documentation process.
  • Manage submittals and RFIs to ensure project progression.
  • Evaluate RFPs and solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee Owner and Subcontractor Change Orders.
  • Resolve project-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Track and ensure timely procurement of materials.

Profile

Assistant Project Manager - Public / Academic Projects - Will have

  • 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Background in ground-up or renovation projects, ideally with public/academic K-12 experience (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with projects $20M+ in value (preferably not multifamily).
  • Proficient with ProCore and other construction management software (P6, BIM/VDC, etc.).
  • An Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).

Job Offer

Assistant Project Manager - Public / Academic Projects - Will receive

  • Base salary: $70K - $125K
  • Project Bonus: $2K - $5K based on project completion
  • 8% 401K contribution
  • Full health benefits (100% coverage)
  • Paid time off (2 weeks PTO for new recruits, 5 sick days, 2 personal days)
  • Vehicle allowance: $500/month
  • Performance-based bonuses for outstanding work (up to 10% of base salary)
