Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a fast-paced environment in the non profit sector. This role requires precision and a strong understanding of payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees.

Description
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and reporting.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required.
- Assist in year-end payroll processes, including tax filings and W-2 preparation.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Support audits by providing payroll information and documentation as needed.

Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
- Proficiency in accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and internal teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
