Employment Counsel
We are seeking an interim Employment Counsel who is experienced in providing legal advice on a wide range of employment matters, and is adept at managing a variety of DEI, litigation and employment investigation matters for a leading global technology company.

Our client is a well-established, international, organization in the technology industry. Known for its innovation and commitment to excellence, this large corporation continues to lead in its field, setting benchmarks for others to follow. Working closely with HR and the legal department, this role is responsible for handling US and international legal employment matters.
Description
As Interim Employment Counsel, varied responsibilities include:
- Provide employment law advice and support on a US and international basis.
- Manage employment-related litigation, including managing external counsel and investigations.
- Develop and implement employment policies, procedures and training programs.
- Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure legal employment compliance across the organization.
- Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the company.
- Work closely with the human resources department and senior stakeholders to address any employee relations issues.

Profile
The successful Interim Employment Counsel should have:
- A Juris Doctor degree from a recognized US law school.
- Admission to a US state bar in good standing.
- Experience in employment law, preferably in the technology industry.
- Excellent knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and regulations. Knowledge of employment laws in other countries (UK, Europe etc. will be highly beneficial).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and outside counsel.
Job Offer
This Interim Employment Counsel role is offering:
- Hourly rate of c. $80-$120/ hour depending on location/ remote working and relevant experience (appointed on a W-2, weekly time-sheet basis)
- This is a maternity cover running from May-October 2026, preference for candidates who are open to extending/ potentially converting to a permanent role should the opportunity arise.
