Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Municipal/Govt Construction - Baltimore MD will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial, educational, healthcare, and civil construction projects up to $5M+.
  • Supporting preconstruction activities, including estimating, subcontractor outreach, and project scheduling.
  • Tracking and managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and timely responses.
  • Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to meet project deadlines and expectations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project costs, timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance.
  • Attending site visits and meetings across the Greater Baltimore region to support on-site execution and closeout processes.

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager - Municipal/Govt Construction - Baltimore MD will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction (experience with educational, healthcare, commercial, or infrastructure projects a plus).
  • Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Motivated, team-oriented, and eager to grow into a leadership position.
