Construction MEP Superintendent - Long Island, NY
Client Details
Our client is a well‑established public works general contractor with a strong track record delivering healthcare, hospital, and municipal projects throughout Long Island and NYC. - Oversee all MEP onsite activities for healthcare and hospital construction projects.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low‑voltage systems.
- Manage MEP subcontractors, sequencing, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with public works requirements, healthcare codes, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Work closely with Project Managers, facility teams, inspectors, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
Profile
A successful MEP Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience supervising MEP scopes on healthcare and hospital projects.
- Strong understanding of complex building systems, life‑safety requirements, and regulated environments.
- Confident field leader with excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive under strict schedules.
