Fulfillment Manager | Beauty | Hybrid

The Fulfillment Manager leads sales order processing for all retail partners at the company's 3PL to drive business results. This role is responsible for compliant retailer onboarding, maintaining SLAs, and driving omnichannel sales reporting and mix of business. This efficiency-driven, detail-oriented professional ensures all aspects of order processing, customer satisfaction, and shipment inspections are handled smoothly, collaborating with partners to meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs.

Description

    • Manage the front-end order-to-cash process, from customer purchase order to sales order conversion, to fulfillment and final-mile delivery tracking.
    • Ensure customer purchase order requests comply with company policies: verify pricing, terms, SKUs, and other parameters. Work with retailers, sales, and finance to correct discrepancies.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with Marketing, Sales, and Finance leads regarding order status, fill rate, shipping timelines, and any exceptions.
    • Partner with demand and supply planning to manage sales order submissions and allocations to maximize retail sales and wholesale inventory for launches and replenishment, while ensuring retail partners are supported for planned sales activity.
    • Provide reporting on retailer on-hand supply to minimize RTVs and RAs and drive stock to DCs and store locations.
    • Log, track, and dispute fulfillment non-compliance chargebacks, partnering with Accounting on credit resolution.
    • Monitor EDI compliance and work with the 3PL and SPS Commerce to ensure accurate and timely document transmission with no interruption to service.
    • Lead new trading partner onboarding with the 3PL and EDI provider as needed.
    • Serve as the retailer subject matter expert by reviewing routing guidelines and working with the 3PL to ensure adherence to SLAs. Conduct annual routing guide reviews to maintain compliance.
    • Ensure sales orders for comps and product testers are delivered to retail accounts as needed, partnering with Brand Marketing.
    • Resolve issues related to fulfillment, logistics, inventory, back orders, shipment discrepancies, damage, and storage.
    • Process RTVs from retail partners, including receipt, inspection, documentation, and disposition of returned product.
    • Participate in Month-End Close activities, including sales order reconciliation.
    • Perform additional duties and special projects related to order processing and sales reporting.

Profile

A successful Fulfillment Manager Beauty should have:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Sales and Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • NetSuite experience required.
  • SPS Commerce experience preferred.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • High energy with a strong, proactive work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, beauty, or supplements preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
