Project Manager | Commercial Construction
Our client is seeking a Project Manager with extensive construction experience within the industrial or commercial market. The Project Manager will oversee management of all phases of projects (estimating, bidding, cost tracking to closeout) from cradle to grave. This individual must possess excellent leadership and communication skills and also one that is willing to mentor and educate Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
Client Details
Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor based out of Minneapolis. They have a large variety of upcoming projects including commercial, retail, and office projects through 2025. They have a strong pipeline and are looking to have a Project Manager join the team ASAP to run these projects.
Description
- Provide leadership and direction on commercial, industrial, education, and K-12 construction projects
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
- Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
- Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
- Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
- Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
- Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
- Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
- Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
- Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal
Profile
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Strong background in Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, or Education Construction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The desire to grow their career professionally
- Strong track record with client relationships

- Base salary of $110,000-$150,000 depending on experience
