Currently hiring for an Assistant Superintendent to join one of Raleigh's most established GCs to work support complex Multifamily projects. Start date - First week of October.

Description
The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily - Raleigh will be expected to:
- Assist in Project Planning: Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Assist in coordinating and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews.
- On-Site Supervision: Monitor and inspect construction sites to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and promote a culture of safety among all workers. Address any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site and report them to the Superintendent.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring that all work meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct quality inspections and communicate any deficiencies to the appropriate parties.
- Materials and Equipment Management: Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site. Ensure that materials are stored and used efficiently and according to project plans.
- Schedule Management: Assist in keeping the project on schedule by monitoring progress and identifying potential delays. Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop solutions to address schedule issues.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with subcontractors, suppliers, project team members, and other stakeholders. Act as a point of contact for field-related inquiries and issues.
Profile
The successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily - Raleigh should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required).
- Previous experience in multifamily construction or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of safety regulations and practices.
