Healthcare Construction Superintendent: oversee and manage healthcare facility construction projects in South Florida. Our client is a mid-size GC that has a strong background of healthcare and institutional construction projects throughout the Southeast of the US (Florida, Georgia and the Carolina's).

Description

• Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and timelines.
• AHCA Compliance: Coordinate and prepare for AHCA inspections, ensuring all construction activities meet state healthcare regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and vendors to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and resolve delays or issues promptly.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with healthcare construction codes and AHCA requirements.
• Safety Management: Enforce job site safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and compliance reports.

Profile

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a Construction Superintendent, with at least 3 years in healthcare facility projects.
• AHCA Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing AHCA inspections and compliance processes.
• Education: High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required; healthcare construction certifications (e.g., CHC) preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in project management software.
