Job Requirements of Commercial Project Engineer- Seattle, WA:
* Looking for a PE with a college degree with 2 years of experience• Has experience with commercial ground up and tenant improvement projects
The Project Engineer will work alongside both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on projects learning different aspects of the job and how our project managers maintain such strong client relationships
After learning the ropes of the company and working on a project with the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be able to be promoted from within and run his own projects.
Our client, is a highly respected firm based in Seattle with a strong local presence, and is actively seeking experienced leaders in commercial tenant improvement construction to join their expanding team

Responsibilities:
• Assuring all projects are built to drawings and specification
• Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
• Assure all materials orders are executed
• Daily project paperwork
• Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
• Maintain work flow and strong relations with subs
• Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
• Coordinate subcontractor
• Partake and actively participate in company training sessions
• Has worked on commercial projects
Successful Candidate:
• Has a Bachelor's degree in construction/ engineering from an accredited University
• Commercial project experience (ground up, tenant improvement, and shell and core)
• Degree in Construction Management or related degree
• 2+ years' experience in the field
• Strong mathematical and computer aptitude is also necessary
• Go getter attitude, wanting to expand and their knowledge and learn
• Skills with Procore, Bluebeam, Plan grid, scheduling, and Microsoft
Competitive salary & bonus commensurate with experience - salary typically between $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience
