Mechanical Project Engineer
Organization is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and execute the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for their precision manufacturing equipment. This role will be instrumental in driving engineering excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Description
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems for precision machine tools and automation equipment.
- Lead engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems.
- Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement design modifications for performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage vendor relationships for outsourced components and ensure quality compliance.
- Support testing, validation, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites as needed.
- Stay up to date with advancements in mechanical engineering and automation technologies.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, engineering, or project management within a manufacturing or automation environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, casting, etc.).
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of GD&T, FEA, and tolerance analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
