Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. The role also extends to financial analysis and cost accounting as well as the external audit process of the company. It is also responsible for the coordination and control of the external advisors under his area of responsibility (tax, etc.).

Description
Transactions
- Ensure an smooth and accurate billing and deposits process
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
- Ensure payroll is processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
Reporting
- Issue timely and complete financial statements and provide their financial analysis
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues (margins, production scrab, production variances)
- Produce the periodic management information requested (sales flash, commercial reporting, inventory reporting, cash flow forecast, etc.)
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Compliance
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Profile
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
CPA or CMA Accreditation is a nice to have
Previous experience in similar position: > 3 years
