A Senior Superintendent in commercial construction is responsible for managing all aspects of on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role involves supervising subcontractors, coordinating daily activities, enforcing quality and safety standards, and serving as the primary liaison between the field team and project management.

They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead on-site operations, with a strong background in industrial cold-storage projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex builds while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities of a Construction Sr. Superintendent | Cold Storage | San Antonio, TX

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing issues proactively to avoid delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site challenges and provide leadership to maintain productivity.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports and documentation for project progress.

Profile

A Successful Construction Sr. Superintendent | Cold Storage | San Antonio, TX

• Experience: 10+ years in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior superintendent role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR; additional safety certifications a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project), and construction technology.
• Leadership Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
• Experience with large-scale commercial projects (cold storage, industrial).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.

Job Offer

• $130,000 - $160,000 base
