Operations Manager - Food & Beverage

Description

• Lead and manage 3-shift operations in a high-speed food packaging environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GMP, HACCP, SQF, and OSHA regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and standard work implementation.
• Oversee production, maintenance coordination, and line changeovers to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) metrics across production lines.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance safety and promote a quality-first culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth ERP system integration and operations.
• Manage batching and processing operations to maintain production schedules and product quality.

Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in Food & Beverage manufacturing and operations management.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and OSHA compliance requirements.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
• Strong leadership skills to manage multi-shift operations and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Technical understanding of high-speed packaging, batching, and processing operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production planning tools.
