Client Details

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up construction. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the on-site management of Affordable Housing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Description

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily on-site construction operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain efficient work flows.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Support problem-solving efforts to address on-site challenges promptly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.
• Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and NYC building regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for contributing to community-focused projects.
• Experience in Affordable Housing construction is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) processes is a plus.
