Family Law Paralegal
The ideal candidate will provide critical support to attorneys across a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, adoption, and domestic violence cases.

Description
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
- Manage case files and calendars, track court dates, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Prepare trial materials including binders, exhibits, and witness lists; assist attorneys during hearings, trials, and mediations.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
- Organize and manage document production, including financial and medical records.
- Assist in calculating child and spousal support.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.

Profile
A successful Family Law Paralegal should have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
- Paralegal certificate or degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of family law procedures and court filing requirements.
- Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, ProLaw, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and compassionate demeanor when working with clients.
Job Offer
- Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
