Quality Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Rochester, NY
The Quality Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring product excellence and compliance within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This position focuses on quality assurance processes, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

My Client is with a medium-sized company operating in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Known for its commitment to high-quality products and fostering innovation in engineering and manufacturing practices. The Quality Engineer will report in the Quality Manager and join a team of 30+ quality professionals. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing setting (ideally Plastics), has customer and client experience, and has the ability to be hands-on. Relocation can be provided!
Description
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and manufacturing, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality systems and audits.
- Support new product development by ensuring quality standards are met during production processes.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer will have the following qualifications:
- A solid understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry or related fields.
