HRIS Manager - Workday
The HRIS Manager - Workday will lead a team of analysts supporting HR systems for 1,000 employees in NA.

Our client is a global financial services firm with their North American HQ in Manhattan, NYC.
Description
Responsibilities of HRIS Manager - Workday include:
Develop and manage the HR systems roadmap for North America, aligning it with business priorities, HR cyclical events, and new Workday features.
Oversee the management and enhancement of Workday functionality across the region, collaborating with local HR teams to optimize processes, achieve business goals, and ensure local compliance.
Lead the day-to-day operations of the team, providing coaching, upskilling, and mentoring to support their professional development.
Manage holiday and absence scheduling within the team to ensure consistent coverage.
Collaborate with the People Analytics Lead to educate the business on leveraging reports and data for informed decision-making.
Create and maintain a release management roadmap, leading the release cycles and implementing new functionalities to improve existing setups.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, guiding change and acting as a trusted advisor for technology-related matters.
Partner with other Workday users to share best practices and engage with Workday on early adopter programs to influence future product developments.
Regularly review and audit HR systems security, preparing for audits and ensuring compliance with necessary standards.
Maintain internal controls, ensuring proper documentation and testing are completed.
Support the maintenance of various HR-related data feeds, including development, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Monitor Workday usage trends and plan targeted actions to improve system adoption and performance.
Manage the relationship with the AMS provider, ensuring service tickets are addressed promptly and service levels are met.
Develop clear escalation paths for the team, HRES, COEs, and business stakeholders when necessary.
Lead process development, ensuring best practices are followed and proper documentation is maintained.
Profile
Requirements of the HRIS Manager - Workday:
Experience with Workday on an international scale is required.
Strong functional knowledge of Workday is essential.
Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 5-6 analysts, balancing daily support with continuous improvement efforts.
- Financial services industry experience desired but not required.
A curious and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on questioning and enhancing existing processes.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, capable of synthesizing and presenting information from diverse sources.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and present information clearly to varied audiences.
Proven ability to collaborate within a team and lead when necessary.
Job Offer
- Base salary $110,000 - $150,000
